Last Tuesday, September 20th was Davey's 4th birthday! Michael took the day off work and we spent the day celebrating. We ate a yummy brunch at home, opened up presents, played with presents, had cake, went to Chuck E. Cheese, went out for supper to Applebees, and ended the day with our life group from church. It was a great day and I know my FOUR-year-old had fun and felt loved.
David is a pretty incredible little guy! I am so thankful I get to be his mama. He is all boy. He loves to climb, wrestle, and be loud, but he's also super sweet and thoughtful. He loves to cuddle and he gives the best hugs and kisses. David loves Imaginext figures and he is awesome at pretend playing. I love listening to Clara and him as they play with their little figures and the scenarios and adventures they create and go on. His other favorites include superheroes, race cars, reading books, playing games, playing outside, swimming, baseball, and collecting bugs. He loves silly humor and he has the best smile and laugh. I love when he dances! He moves his feet and legs super fast and it's really interesting and amazing to watch. David is loving being a big brother! He loves holding Emma and he also loves being silly with her and making her smile and giggle.
Every year on their birthday (starting at age three) I ask the kids about their favorites. I love this tradition.

Davey LOVES books where he has to find specific items hidden within the pictures. It's such a joy to look at these books with him.
We had been wanting to get him a marble run for a long time and we finally felt like he was old enough. We all had these excited faces on. ;)
