Christmas Eve 2015

We had the best Christmas Eve at home together.  It was such a special day.

We started the morning by mixing up our sugar cookie dough.  Can you tell the kids were excited?! :)

While we waited for our cookie dough to chill, Clara and Davey opened up their Christmas Eve gifts.

We got them The Night Before Christmas book.

Love my babies.

Then they opened a gift from aunt Heather & uncle Billy!  Oh my goodness you guys, it was such a fun little package for Christmas Eve and just made our day.  New, adorable pajamas, The Polar Express, popcorn and hot chocolate.  They wanted to put their new pajamas on and we snuggled in for the movie.  We hadn't seen The Polar Express before and they were entranced.  Davey sat on my lap for the whole movie.  It was the best.

After the movie it was was time to bake cookies!  Love my little helpers!

I love how he sticks out his tongue when he's concentrating. :)

I love the atmosphere a lit Christmas tree provides at night.  All ready for Christmas morning!
