Summer is always fun and last summer was no exception. It was even more of a good time because we had TWO little loves to share it with. Here are pictures from the fist half of the summer (mid-May till mid-July 2013).

The kids fell asleep while Michael and I went for a morning run on a beautiful trail. Yes, Clara's hair is a total mess!

Dancing is a daily tradition at our house. The kids just love when we turn on the music and all dance around the kitchen or living room.

We spent lots of time at the pool.
Clara loved the sand area at the pool and would have been content to play there the whole time instead of swim if we would have let her.
We often took walks around our neighborhood. Clara would push her baby and I'd push my baby.
Clara loved stopping to watch the neighbor's windmill.
Davey liked it too!

celebrating our 7th anniversary
Thanks again to auntie Em who watched Clara and Davey so we could have a rare date to celebrate! And as if that wasn't enough, we came home to the most precious anniversary gift. Love you Emily!
